How to Hire Right Moving Companies

Moving all of your belongings from one location to another is a big undertaking, especially if you try to do it on your own. Luckily, there are a lot of companies willing to take that burden off of your shoulders. We know that deciding what moving company you want and trust to move your valuable possessions can be difficult!
But before you decide on using Moving Companies, there are a few qualifying questions you should ask.  These questions will help you find the right moving company, and avoid any costly mistakes.
  •    Is your moving company licensed?
  •   Ask about their insurance policy
  •   Verify how payment works, if it is all up front, or if part is based on successful delivery.
  •   How many movers will be provided?
  •   Check to see if they have some sort of satisfaction guarantee.
  •   Are items insured during the move?
  •   What kind of cancellation policy do you offer?
  •   Ask for references that you can follow up on.
  •   Do you charge extra for larger items such as piano moving, large screen televisions
  •   Do you charge extra for moves in the evenings or on the weekends?
  •   Does your company charge by the piece or by the hour?
  •    Do you have a minimum charge? How do you charge after the minimum is met — in 15-minute increments or every half hour?
